We have FC interiors, station interiors, and pretty expansive settlements. So why not add buyable/ rentable apartments? If you wanna make a place your permanent home you can pay some huge price tag for it. If you'll only be there for a little while, you pay rent. I mean, you have to keep paying for your FC, so this is hardly a foreign concept. I know, I know, it's not GTA. But there are many of us who make a system and certain stations as our home. I'd love to come back from a long trip or a day of bounty hunting and chill out in a little space of my own in my favorite station in my favorite system. Maybe even have a window that looks out over the planet you're orbiting. Maybe have decoration options that could be purchased with ARX (hint-hint, nudge-nudge, wink-wink, cha-ching, $$$)

I realize that this feature may not be to everyone's taste, but here's a world shattering revelation to those that don't know this yet: There are many aspects of Elite that are NOT for everyone. For instance, I personally detest mining. I will go hundreds even THOUSANDS of lightyears out of my way to get materials with my SRV unless I absolutely must do mining for certain materials. You, however, may LOVE mining and do it every day and wish only that there was more time in the day to mine away.

Just a thought. Keep in mind that opinions are my own. My opinions can't hurt you. I do not have to power to Thanos snap my will into being. My opinions are not waiting in your bathroom, ready to twerk in your face after eating Taco Bell.

I certainly hope ship interiors are soon to arrive. It's first on my list of desired features. Imagine the different type of captain's cabins you could have! Like, the DBX could have a cramped sleeper with a tiny bed and all that, whilst the Orca or Dolphin have a luxury penthouse type area to chill in and maybe even with giant windows to see out of! XD Noice! But as far as I'm aware, ship interiors are not exactly being hurriedly developed. So I at least wanted to put the thought out there about having personal apartments. Something at least that says that I exist and have a place in this galaxy. Something to further deepen my connection with this space. Also, like I said, it could (unfortunately) be used to further prop up the ARX store. MTX out the backside. Idiots like me will absolutely spend money to furnish some virtual apartment. So sad.
