Apex crisis and instant solution.

Did FD implement some kind of automatic APEX issue (stuck somewhere) solution?

My Apex pilot just flew into a star, and he notoriously wanted to do it again and again,
because for some reason he was turning around to the next waypoint through star exclusion zone.
So, I tried the Horizons trick - didn't work, got stuck in "relocate/cancel" loop.

I loaded Odyssey again, apex jumped to SC - I was expecting him to fly back to ex. zone,
but instead of that I got black adder error
and after resuming i was in my last ship,
10 km from station I left it in.

Is it "normal" now, or I just was absurdly lucky somehow?

It looked like there was some procedure running on servers that triggered automatic recovery after APEX did not make planned part of journey x times in a row.

I'd welcome a failsafe like this.

All I want to do is take an Apex to another station in the system. Every ship is unmoving, just locked in place. Why aren't these loitering AI shot down and killed after 5 mins like I would have been?

A few days ago, my Apex driver engaged hyperjump. With a planet hiding the hyperjump target (something we can't do). The same planet around which the station we just came from was orbiting around. The hyperjump went through, up to the countdown. At this point, I had a brown alert, not going to lie. When it reached 0, and I prepared to become the largest human made stain on the surface of a random world, it just stopped. Then the driver, seemingly disappointed, decided to avoid the planet for the jump.

We would have built a memorial to you had it happened. If we could have found any of you, that is.

apex was flying into stars before this patch!
i have seen many times and more often then not they always fly into those purple stars

i also noticed my apex taxis never heat up or get damaged when sitting in the star trying to turn around and get out of its orbit
