I can't be the first person to link to APOD, but if that's true I'm not going to apologise for doing it again.

APOD or Astronomy Picture of the Day is a NASA website that posts a really cool Astronomy Picture... every day!

It even has a archive of each days entry. Take a look fellow travellers, for one thing it'll make you appreciate a little bit more just how wonderful the graphics in our game are.

April 16 in the vicinity of the cone sector doesn't work for me. Ironic really.There is a bug listed,though, so it's probably just that.

Yeah when we had an Astronomy + Space sub forum there used to be all sorts of interesting stuff going on. F D decided that a space game didn't need a real-life space sub-forum so now there is just the topic label in the Off Topic forum - needless to say, buried in with the dross, there is not much astronomy discussion going on in there.
