So, I was at Farseer Inc earlier, getting a new set of thrusters for my T9 upgraded.
I have this "thing" where I like to zip around in the deep canyons after getting an upgrade done.
There was a DBX parked on one of the smaller pads which overhangs the canyons and I had a bit of a play, seeing how close I could buzz him before I triggered the pad warning.
Then I went down into the canyons to see how responsive my new thrusters were.
Next thing, I see the DBX lift off, above me, and start to descend into the canyons.
I assume he must have known, from his scanner, that I was there but, I dunno.
I thought, maybe, he was planning on doing the same to me as I did to him.
Anyway, as I watched, he just came further and further down until it was pretty obvious he was going to collide with me.
So, I switched on my lights.
That must've given him a fright cos he lurched backward and smacked his DBX into the canyon walls.
He said his shields took the hit and we had a bit of a laugh about it.
He said he knew there was a ship down there somewhere but he couldn't see me and he nearly jumped out of his skin when I switched my lights on.
Gotta love it when interactions in ED are more than just shooting at each other. [up]
