Apologies to the novice commander I killed last night

I was doing a mission and you were labelled as a mission target so I couldn't help myself. We had an interesting warp, chase, interdict, warp, attack thing that went on for about 20 mins and I did feel bad when you were down to 2% and I fired the final laser to blow you up. I also got merit points taken away because you were the same faction (which I didn't realise until I read that in my mail box).

So, I won't do that again if I see anyone of low skill level. I remember what it was like for me that happened to me.
