News App launch - competition giveaway

If I enter the competition and win an ipad, then I could finally use the app... assuming I didn't just give away the lousy ipad. Gonna have another competition when you release the android version? I could rrally appreciate a Samsung Galaxy tablet. :)

I've accessed it without having done any tutorials.

You do need to have hit start once and filled in a commander name for it to work.

App will not let me Sign in at "Sign in Screen" press it and nothing happens beyond a brief attempt to connect-have started App several times and have a Commander Name-though when I checked to see all was well with my Commander name, I can not find Commander profile either in game or on https://support.orerve.net/

Don't even want the iPad or iPhone 6, waiting on the Android version.
Any idea on when we could see it and "Soon" isn't a valid answer?

Also can you use the app to buy cargo from the system you're currently in?
IE use is as a mobile ship console while playing the game.

Yes- I have tried everything as well-it tries to connect with what I presume is the sign in screen then immediately stops. Been into settings-everything good for the App there so far as I can see.

Anyone care to tell me how to access Commander profile? Have tried the oreave address, in game and game files-Zilch!

Can't say about the ETA for Android, sorry.

As to the other, no you cannot trade in the APP and it only shows your current system. Not sure if this will change with later versions though...

Really love the app for a starter. A few things I would like to see:
* Ability to view last know prices for systems visited recetly (all which you have market data in the galaxy map)
* Ability to view outfitting of each of your owned ships
* View the current location of each of your stored ships

But, like I said a great first iteration :)

Can't wait to see it launch on GooglePlay, and how it will evolve.

By the way, you know what would be cool? Animated live wallpapers for Android :) (don't know if Live wallpapers exist on iOS)
