I'm looking to edit appconfig.xml to see if I can optimise performance. Problem is - there's about six of them on my PC.

How can I tell - for sure - which one my machine parses when I launch Elite?

Also. Near the top it says my resolution is 1280x780. It's not, though, it's 1910x1080 (1080p) - seems okay in game, though.

The one in "Frontier\EDLaunch\Products\elite-dangerous-64" is what the main game will use, though if you use steam, this may be somewhat different.

The graphics settings are a fallback, they are normally read from "\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Graphics\DisplaySettings.xml"
