Summary
System: YZ Ceti
Station: Clement Orbital (Coriolis starport, large pads available, 1,220 Ls from main star, 12.07 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Deliver Neofabric Insulation, Ion Distributors and Energy Grid Assemblies
Time limit: 26th February 3310 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
Deliveries are urgently needed to begin manufacturing a new weapon capable of causing severe damage to Thargoid Titans.
Aegis has asked for shipments of neofabric insulation, ion distributors and energy grid assemblies to be delivered to Clement Orbital in the YZ Ceti system.
Professor Ishmael Palin has been leading on the project, using theories developed by Ram Tah. Aegis released an official statement on all newsfeeds:
We can now reveal the results of Ram Tah’s experiments into Guardian relics. These ancient objects were crystalline supercomputers that relayed data across the Guardians’ information networks. His theory was that their transformation into Unclassified relics at Thargoid surface sites was caused by an inbuilt defence mechanism, which could perhaps be weaponised.
Ram Tah discovered that exposure to certain electromagnetic frequencies caused Guardian relics to open and activate clusters of microscopic nanites. These react aggressively against Thargoid biotechnology by disrupting it on the molecular level. Most significantly, tests proved that these nanites are unaffected by the anti-Guardian field generated within Maelstroms.
Professor Palin, aided by Aegis technicians, has used Guardian-hybrid engineering to construct a ‘soft’ warhead that delivers a nanite payload. The torpedo is armoured using organic compounds from Thargoid spire sites, to prevent anti-Guardian fields affecting it in flight. Our strategists believe that these weapons could affect a Titan’s heat regulation systems, causing internal damage and eventually even total destruction.
Mass production of the Guardian nanite torpedo and its launcher module has begun. But further supplies are needed to construct enough for simultaneous attacks against all eight Thargoid motherships.
As an additional incentive, modules will be offered to qualifying participants. These rewards are cumulative.

The campaign begins on the 15th of February and will run for 11 days. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering neofabric insulation, ion distributors and energy grid assemblies to Clement Orbital in the YZ Ceti system.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Clement Orbital is at planet A 10
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Interstellar Factors, Social Spaces
  • Prices at Clement Orbital:
    • Neofabric Insulation: 29,895 Cr/Unit
    • Ion Distributors: 11,835 Cr/Unit
    • Energy Grid Assemblies: 13,295 Cr/Unit

Are those just regular hull reinforcements?

So pre-engineered, but no special, otherwise unattainable, engineering on them.

Could do with a bit of clarity though... If it's a regular heatsink engineered for ammo capacity it's basically worthless, that's one single engineering roll using grade 1 mats.

As reminder, CG rewards have 0 cost, and reduce rebuy and transfer cost. Not the most expenskve modules, and Edmund already sell 20% discount.

This CG is for the narrative, and a 11day filler while Rhea fix the natural disaster and Felicia Winters become president.

If I recall correctly, some plans for U18 was on 26th February, maybe we are in route. U18 cinematic? Cmdr Mechan launching the nanite torpedo like Independence Day? Would be this our Salvation? Can we inyect this nanites into senator Hudson?

I cannot for the life of me recall how to tell which commodity is the best value. Any hints for a newly returning player? I've always loved CGs!

Is the heatsink launcher the kind I can engineer myself? Confused because Petra Olmanova also does Ammo Cap too. I've already replaced every heatsink in my fleet with the sirius version, not looking for a downgrade

Oh dear, this sucks. Why these commodities and not something that is widely available? Its crazy that its easier and quicker to source, collect and supply stuff from a long dead civilisation like the Guardians, than it is to supply this human stuff.
