Hey Folks,

I thought I drop my application here to find a group which fits my playstyle.

About me:

I am 28y old and have a son, so RL will always be my prio. But my wife is pretty cool with me being a nerd, so I can play around 4-15hrs a week. Mostly on the evenings from 8-12pm (UTC/GMT +1 hours). If I start a complex game like ED i go all in, so today my HOTA was delivered and i will try to get VoiceAttack with Astra running, i also have around 10hrs of youtube videos for guides and lore watched. As you may notice i am no native speaker (German) but i think my English (written and spoken) should be good enough to handle all the basic conversations.
I played Eve online for a long time and i love all aspects of RP in such games. This was my old capsuleer in Eve , if someone is interested

What is my focus in ED:

First of all I want to understand as much as possible of the game, lore and his mechanics. I think my focus will be on fighting missions and exploration (I love exploration).

What I am looking for:

I am looking for a nice group to wing up and have fun. Learn from experienced players and get some more insights on all mechanics of this game. Or just learn by trial and error with some other nice rookies.
I really would like to support a minor faction which have a focus on immersion/lore and I would love to support this in any kind of way (GalNet News, Story Lines, whatever). Powerplay sounds also interesting, especially the different fighting mission but right now no faction could win me over, lorewise spoken. So I am open for it, but no must have.

Since noone else replied

- we're a fairly small bunch at the fringes of space
- we got a Minor Faction we support (Standard NPC, but we got us a System Map description) and are present in 20 Systems
- we're busy spreading our Independent Demcracy
- made friendly contact with Alliance on our southern borders
- being rather peaceful in nature, we reserve Fighting for Bounty Hunts or whenever our Faction needs us in a War
- colorful mix of jacks-of-all-trades, Traders, Miners, Bounty Hunters and Explorers etc.
- nice guys, leading a lawful life (a few Commodity restrictions occasionally aside maybe )

Most of us are online during the GMT evenings as well, so that might help

Hello to you both,
CMDR Theowuld here, newly appointed Ambassador (and de facto recruiter) for a new player faction; we're still trying to decide on a name, currently it's the Elite Shadow Consortium, partly because we represent the interests of several scattered minor factions we adopted, plus we have to hide in the shadows for now until we gain strength. Reason for that is an unfortunate encounter with a much larger player faction who's ideals run very counter to our own.

We're very much like you, FalconFly, we support democracy wherever we can find it, mostly independent, don't condone certain cargos, do a lot of stuff. Not involved in PowerPlay because, you said it, Isaac, none of them win us over. None seem to really support any democracy whatsoever!

Most members have pressing IRL commitments like family or work, so no worries there. I've had a lot of experience with people who's first language isn't English but so far our members are mostly English-speakers. 61 For Equality looks like a good group for you since they too speak German, but we'd welcome you with open arms!

With regards to 61 For Equality, I really salute what you're doing, your ideals seem very much in line with ours. We would be very interested in forming an alliance with you.

Always looking for initiates willing to sacrifice all to the Creator and join us. We are part of the Border Coalition so if ever none of us are around (pesky work thing) then you can hop on their discord as well. We RP, have a corner of space on the outer edge of inhabited space, do a lot of BGS and stuff and we have the privilege of being the player group located closest to the alien base as it is in spitting distance. We have some good trade routes now we control some systems and we are looking to control more.
