Application start up exception.

I try to post this here in the PC forum.
I posted in the newcomers , but it is more relevant here I guess.
I can`t launch the game after I downloaded the new launcher.
I there a way to download anew launcher if the previous was corrupt?
Any way here is what I postet:

When I try to launcn now I get this meddage:

"application startup exception: initialising of the configuration system failed"

Any sollution to this?

This sounds like a broken config file to me. I would try renaming / removing the user.config file that was created by the launcher. You should be able to find it by going to "%AppData%\Local\Frontier_Developments_Ltd", then going in a folder called EDLauncher.exe.some_random_stuff, then in a folder named the version number. It will be the only file in the folder. Rename user.config to something else and then run the launcher again to have it make a new one

I have come to the update screen after logging in with the code recieved from Frontier.
Will the user file rewrite so I just have to delete the old one?

Anyway 47% complete now, seems ok.
