Applying a paint job

I'm unable to apply a paint job as there is no apply button.
I have 7 ships and cannot get the apply button for any of them.
That's for new and old paint jobs. Recently puchased one for a Corvette, but no luck with that either, even after a few weeks.
Does any body have the same problem, or have a solution?

Dock at a station which has the "livery" facility (almost all big orbiting stations), then use the station facilities, then livery facility, next to outfitting bottom right of the screen.

Or quit to the the main menu, choose "Game Extras", then "livery".

The "Game Extras", livery worked.
Will use that route next time I want a new paint job.
