Posted previously that my S-Scanner was redded out and assumed destroyed in a mistimed neutron scoop. Have passed through 100's of systems on the way back from Saggy, no honk. On a pure hunch this afternoon I pressed the weapon cycle key and it's there, working.

D'oh etc.

Can only assume the emergency stop reset the weapons configuration so anyone else suffers this, there's your answer.

In the meantime, dunce hat memes will be appreciated.

Only if I crash, burn and have to rebuy...

Thinking about it, what must have happened in my panic to remember the heatsink hot key I must have cycled the binding for cycling weapons instead. When you're that close to burning up rational thought tends to evaporate but at least I know for future!

PS My moronic act of the week was to get a planetary security scan mission of my home-system faction's planetary base. At least I had to go visit the local IF: they'll get to know me better soon enough
