Approach angle makes no sense

I am not sure if it was discussed before.

I jump from system A to system C via system B. The three systems are almost in line.
When i came out of the "Dr Who hyperspace placeholder loading screen" i found the system C behind me.
Shouldn't it be almost directly in front of me? Maybe obscured by the star B?

Hyperspace is weird, you are placed at a random location around the target star at a distance relative to the size of the star, but always looking at the star.

This.

If you always maintained heading through jumps, you would often need to turn to face the sun to scoop, as well. So it works well enough.

Um.....
... perhaps the Galaxy Map is a static representation of the Galaxy at one particular time
You are actually jumping into a ever moving reality
... just a guess
I am sure, that's not the case. :)

ähm... no... you would still looking at the sun every time, but the next system on route would be obscured by the star much more often.

I would like it, if the game places you facing in the correct direction, but gives you an larger offset sometimes.
