April fools suggestion

I believe it would be a great April fools joke if FD makes the Earth flat for 1 day. This will be hilarious! It is true that not everybody will see it (permit locked Sol) but still will be hilarious!
Or at least there can be a galnet post about the topic of Earth being flat all along.
What do you guys think?

I think that this "joke" wouldn't be funny at all, regarding the fact that people have seen Earth as not-flat for hundreds of years due to the space-faring age.
No one would fall for that.

It wouldn't require much effort to publish a single Galnet-Report on this but it would require quite a lot effort to replace the Earth in the game itself with a disk, if you were going for that.

On the other hand, someone might reference to "Earth being flat" (7 Minutes) in the Galnet-Report, that because moving faster than light and yadeyadeyada. Eh.

Overall: No, I respectfully disagree.
It wouldn't be funny, rather ridiculous and worth a face-palm Sunday.

Well I am not talking about people ingame (NPCS) seeing/acknowledging the fact that it is round, but simply putting a disk in the place of earth for one day...
If I happen to fly by Earth on 1st of April and see a disk personally I will laugh my off...
It is mostly a joke about how still in the 21st century we have people believing that the earth is flat... ( not 3303)
