Have you checked Darnielle's Progress in Maia? There was a time when I was able to buy 600 tons there, but later changes to restock rates depleted the stock to single digit values. Still, now that MAs are not needed to fix UA damage, there may be decent supply again.

Mind you knowing which ones are ripe can be a pain.

Not sure logoffski would work any more. Don't instances now work on a timer, so that re-logging while its still counting would make no difference.

Maddening really; so looks like I have to hunt barnacles sites and hope they are 'ripe'; I might just forget about the stuff I wanted to unlock, this is painful.

I believe the popular method is to hang round the engineer base and steal what you need from incoming noobs. At least, that's how they do it in Open.

This is incorrect. Meta Alloys are not considered a rare good and will keep restocking every 10 minutes regardless of how many you have in your hold.

So if you need 16 tons this may be viable, although it will likely still take longer than going to a barnacle site or Thargoid base to harvest them.

So if you need 16 tons this may be viable, although it will likely still take longer than going to a barnacle site or Thargoid base to harvest them.
