Are albino animals only available in franchise mode? Also: variants were advertised for the BASE GAME and we don't have them.

I have been playing Career and Challenge mode, and so far I have not seen one albino animal. If they're only in franchise mode, then.. that's awful, honestly. Because franchise is by far the worst mode, and I refuse to play it. (Maybe if they allowed you to start you franchise in one of the fancy zoos they built for career mode-- you know, a choice we already have when starting a challenge or sandbox zoo-- then I'd play it.)

Moreover, there needs to be more colour variants-- and I know everyone has already said this a hundred times. But my god, it's starting to bother me? Because "every animal is unique" is something that was advertised as being in the based game. Something we payed for. It feels like Frontier has lied to our faces and expects us to forget about it. I don't normally want to sound antagonistic toward Frontier. But I realized it's possible they'd bring variants into the game as paid DLC.... and just the thought kinda made me mad. That would be pretty gross.

That being said, please bring them into all game modes. Oh lord, please.

Albinos are available in all modes. I say that with 100% certainty, because I was testing this for the last couple of days. I've gotten albinos in Challenge, Franchise, and yesterday (finally after hours of playing) I also got an albino in Sandbox! It was an albino Gemsbok, by the way. So yes, they are available in all game modes.

wow, thanks for telling me! It's a relief to be honest. With the huge deal Frontier made out of Franchise mode, I was afraid they were going to play favorite with it. Hopefully I will get lucky soon!

Just keep breeding! You'll get them eventually, undoubtedly. Sometimes you get lucky, as I get an albino in Challenge really early on and straight off the market too! That was awesome. In Franchise I got albinos after a long time playing and breeding, but now I have albino tigers, so that's cool. Keep at it and you'll get them too! Once you get one, a smart breeding strategy will ensure you'll establish an entire population if you want to :)
