Are distribution centres still a thing?

I need to slaughter a few T9's for their mats. 😃
I used to get them from anarchy distribution centres, but I seem to remember reading that they are no longer around. But I could be wrong.

Why do you need to slaughter poor cows? USS are so easy to find now you can pick up CMs by the handful just by doing Encoded in a low or anarchy system.

Hi RES are more fun. You get boatloads upon boatloads of pirates to shoot at... sometimes a whole hoard of Condas, FDLs.....
Plus Sys Authority Wingmen to help you whittle them down.... and the bounties to collect too.

Spent one hour there, killed over 15 ships. After killing one, I just dropped Collector limpets and opened the cargo hatch to collect the mats while sitting still and firing on the other pirates. NPC Sys Auth always keeps them from hurting you too much.

The most difficult part of this is having to keep track of where the white blips of destroyed ships parts are. :ROFLMAO:

The reason I'd advised hitting an Anarchy system is that you can pull T-9, T-7, Cruse liners, etc out of SC and hit them for a variation in dropped mats. For mass-harvesting then REZ sites are the way to go but some mats drop almost exclusively from the transport ships.

Anarchy with a visitor beacon, go shoot the tourists. No high grade mats though.

Best mats are in CZs or pirate lord hunting, but you have to be quick on the limpet programming as they get slaughtered by PDs.

Haz rez, c.z's and pirate lord hunting are no good for freighters.
I need t7's t9's etc.
Looks like I'll have to pull them out of supercruise in anarchy systems.
Shame there are no more famine systems

You can use non system security convoy USSs. They're often loaded with transports, which are a doddle.

However, system security are very very difficult to take down, because there's usually Deadly+ 3-4 T9/10s and 3-4 Anaconda's. Lol

However, I spent some time doing this, and hardly found any conductive polymers. 🙄
Which was the only material I needed. Lol

In times like these, I usually just end up killing boatloads of pirates in RES sites for tons of parts, then exchange their mats at ridiculous exchange rates for the rares I need.

Weighing the time between looking for a transport in Anarchy space and just staying put in the Mat trader system farming a RES site, I chose the latter....
