last time i played this game i was trying to upgrade my corvette. while trying to upgrade my power distributor i found out that exquisite focus crystals couldn't be found anywhere due to some screw up on FD behalf. just wondering if this is still the case?
Horizons Are exquisite focus crystals still impossible to obtain?

They were working before the current update. But there's a bug again atm.
sure they weren't refined or normal focus crystals? from what i've read you can only get exquisite from mission rewards
Yeah exquisite are mission reward only, well at least they used to be. Though I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong with a pic.....

You know, I didn't realize until you mentioned it that there are different types, so they could have been just the normal ones. I think Mrblobbyblob may be correct; they may have been either refined or normal.

Yes it was a bug. It was fixed from what I'm experiencing. Millerport in Quince has been supplying my EFCs.

Don't know if this will be fixed anytime soon, but I was recently down in Eravate and LHS 3447 on tips that Exquisite Focus Crystals can be located here. Found a couple missions that were giving them away, accepted the missions, then after accepting, when I checked the Transactions tab I saw that the EFC's had changed to another material. Thought it was a glitch so completed the mission, and guess what, I didn't get the EFC's, that sucks, had another mission that had changed and said, screw that and just abandoned it. The only reason I had accepted that mission was for the EFC, but it changed to something else that I didn't need. Decided to test and see if that practice was going to continue and found another mission giving them away, accepted, and yep, you guessed it, it changed, but this time it changed to Cracked Industrial Firmware, which I do need, so I didn't abandon that one. Now with this new bug, I am leary of accepting any mission for the material giveaway, because it will change to something else, and I sure ain't accepting the missions for the money they pay, I have enough money, so the only reason to do missions for me anymore is the materials. Guess I won't be upgrading any of my PD's for awhile since I can't locate any EFC's.
Haven't checked yet if this is for all missions that offer materials that magically change to something else upon accepting or if its just the missions that offer EFC's, will have to see later if that is the case, or if this happens at other locations other than LHS 3447 and Eravate.
