General / Off-Topic Are forum games bad?

So, what is the general attitude towards forum games around here?[big grin]

I don't mean the spammy "Count to so and so", kind of threads, I mean actual forum games. For example, someone has to take a picture from Google and manipulate it in photoshop to make it look ridiculous, and the first to guess what it is wins the round and gets to manipulate a picture themselves.

That's all I can think of from the top of my head. I do know that there are loads of forum games out there though, gif related, random funnies, etc.

Sorry if this has been said before, I did do a forum search but didn't find much on the subject.

No one like to do anything fun in here, we just sit around and moan about Brexit and Donald Trump all day, and fuss about alternative facts by providing links to fake news that just fuels the misery. OT is a self sustaining nuclear reactor powered by torment, faux butt-hurt, depression and self delusion. Anyone who comes after me in this thread and says otherwise worships the Devil, Martha Stewart, or other false deities.

You watch Black Sails? I was hoping for Blackbeard to be the "True" main character since episode one. WHY would they do that to us? [cry]

I been on board since first episode. Everyone was hoping the bearded one would appear at some point and were throwing around names like Liam Neeson... Starz says it was going to be Ray and I was surprised he never dawned on me. The casting was PERFECT, he totally nailed my own vision of what the man might have been like.

And then three episodes in this season they disposed of him in the gruesome manner. Sad waste of a great character, I was hoping he'd hold out till teh end, but I guess this season all the characters are moving towards their own inevitable ends

That scene was like torture (obviously it was for him - I mean just watching it). I kept thinking he was gonna make it, and he kept breathing again...

I don't call them bad, it's just not my kind of game, especially continued stories and such in english.
