I couldn't find a Guardian fighter prefix so I went with the ship I use. Is the Guardian fighter stronger than the Taipan, also do the Guardian fighters run out of ammo? At the moment I use the Taipan with fixed beam lasers but I was wondering if the Guardian one would be stronger, my fighter pilot is Elite so she shouldn't have much problem hitting the target, I know it probably wouldn't last long enough to run out of ammo but I'm just curious.
The Guardian fighters are fitted with anti-Xeno weapons so they'll be at a disadvantage against human ships, although they do look and sound great they are fragile (10 armour compared to the Taipans 45) have a look at this link for more details.

The difference being that Guardian weapons are effective against both human targets and thargoids.
I don't have the Guardian fighters myself, so I can't test that right now though.
But if their weapons are anything like the other guardian weapons, they should work just fine against any target, human or xeno.
[edit] I went and grabbed a bunch of patterns Epsilon and then unlocked 2 of the guardian fighter types. And well, they do full damage against human and xeno targets just like any other guardian weapon... As expected.
