Are HAZ RES gone?

I have heard this from other threads. In my system, I was lucky, nothing has changed. Two HighRES, and one StdRES. So, on one front the answer is: yes there are still RES other than the standard type. Why the changes, and how they work are yet to be deciphered. Something has changed though.
Nope. I've seen several in the past few day, and I haven't been looking for them.
There a plenty of Haz Res systems around, but I have noticed that Haz Res in High Security systems appear to have gone. I have not done enough flying around to see whether this is just luck of the systems I have checked, or consistent.

Nah. Plenty out there.
Momoirent had several when I checked last Sunday.
This has pretty much happened with every big patch for the last year or two - extraction sites get a re-roll in where they are generated.
In 2.4 my favorite bounty hunting system lost a Haz-RES which became a Low-RES
Back in 2.2 or 2.3 (different home system) it was better, since an extra Haz showed up and it got two High-RES which it didn't have to begin with.

HazRez's have been temporarily removed from the game due to them spawning ships that can be killed for credits.

Was on one yesterday in an ASP - wouldn't recommend it for too long though.
25 Nu-2 Draconis has one around Planet 2. Use to be around the Water World, but I'm happy it's at least still in the same system [wacky]
The primary starport, Avicenna City, has most of everything you need in terms of outfitting. It recently gained a Manufactured Materials Trader too. Currently it's about 2500 Ls from the HazRes.

I've seen one in my current local area go away, but there's still another one 50Ls further out.
So some have been removed/changed, but they still exist for all I know.
The reason for the changes to apparently many existing HazRES'es I don't know though. That remains an oddball to me.

Not gone, but some have moved.
Some have stuck, also in high-res systems (my "homesystem" was high-res and still has two hazrez).
