Are hyperspace jumps taking longer lately?

Just in the last couple of days I've noticed my hyperspace jumps taking several more seconds than they used to, sometimes to the point where I think the game has become stuck in a loading loop and I'm about to quit out of it. Anyone else getting this, sometimes upwards of a minute or more? This wasn't happening to me before but was really bad over the weekend.
 
Yes, but not as often as you describe it. I would actually like it to be a feature. Longer LY jumps should take longer. :)

Some seem to be, though I have noticed that it may be related to systems I haven't been in for a while, might be because of the rep fix? and your computer needs to recreate the system? but it is only slightly longer.
 
Last two days had the long jump animation which I haven't had since beta. I think there is a server comms issue as you are moving from one instance/server to another.
I have only had it a couple of times though so not a big issue for me
 
I had one lasting 5 mins, my internet was down. Same on dropping from sc.

These are loading screens (i suspect with a minimum time). So if it takes too long check your connection or assume that the server is experiencing heavy load.

Same issue would be the loading of starport services, commodities (separate), emptying the hopper maybe even scanner time. every time i see the rotating hexagons i suspect server communication.

I agree.... but they should also have multiple nav points within systems, so you can jump closer to your destination.

Well I only do a 2 jump trade route right now, in areas I've been for a while, but this weekend it was painful. Jumps were fine for the most part, in the past, with only occasional long loads.

Just checking to see if it was only me. Thanks for the reply all.

that would be great.

i also noticed that enteering / exiting HS jump takes longer and sometimes seems stuck in the loop lately

same goes for hypervelocity btw, but happens less often
 
Well in any case I think I'll ticket it in case they get a steady stream of feedback about that now they may have something to investigate.
 
I have seen an increase in time it takes to exit. Usually, it is due to network traffic. I turn on the monitor and I sit and wait to exit until I start getting data being transferred. Once that occurs, the ending of the jump is nearly instantaneous .

Jump to the 1 minute mark if it doesn't do so (it should, the code is right, but not working on my end)

Sometimes the inital jump loads, but the tunnel doesn't for a bit... you feel like you're being sucked into the great Void and all meaning fades around you ;)
