Are Imperial Clipper pilots the Audi drivers of ED ?

In all my time in open I have never come across a bad Clipper pilot, have seen a lot of runners, but never wreckless docking. Anaconda cmdr's remind me of BMW/Audi drivers, lost many T9's to Anaconda's in the past.

Worst cmdr's for me as a big ship guy, T6 Cmdr's! The amount of T6's that have ducked under my Conda/T9 right before the docking slot. Gives me so much rage!!

The Audi and especially the BMW community (of enthusiasts that is) is, and will be better than any community i'll ever stumble upon. The ammount of dedication and love for the cars is something I've never seen before when I attend the BMW Carclub Norway events.

Then again, you have these s that don't own the Audi, or the BMW because they like the brand, but because it's a premium brand and want to show off their $$$

Anyone who spends a lot of time on the road will understand exactly what I mean by 'Audi Driver'. They are the sort that cut you up at roundabouts and junctions, overtake in stupid places and absolutely will never let you change into the lane in front of them without accelerating to try and stop you (really annoying when you HAVE to change lanes).
They are the most arrogant, inconsiderate and pig headed road hogs, on Britains roads today.

And i'm seeing a similar type of behaviour with Clipper pilots........

I think 'BMW driver' also comes to mind with similar behavioural problems.:)

Nah afraid not. I do a lot of driving between north/south and it's always BMW drivers who are the worst.

I do a lot of north/south driving too and its the Audi drivers I find worse. Its usually the drivers with the bigger Audis. Agressive, menacing and they throw their weight around.

Risking harm coming to my beautiful, shiny white ship, to dock first? Never! :D

Just losing the shields while in combat, feels bad. Getting it all scratched and less than mint. :D

If I'm one of my Cobras, though... ;)

Nah.. generally fly decently. The exception is when an AI seems to have come to a stop in the mail slot.

stereotypes aside I had great fun in my clipper yesterday. coming into dock, not boosting but at a fair speed, I pulled over to the red side to pass and AI eagle dawdling about in the letter box as they do....... only to see a type 9 rise up vertically in front of me like like a giant screaming "tho shalt not pass!!"

I was in the rift, it scared the pants off me for a split second..... I banked full turn and grazed shields and i do not think anyone was harmed or damaged - unless they had no shields, in which case more fool them!..

It does sadden me that this sort of interaction may have to end due to a small number of people taking advantage of the the lenient system we have now. I never deliberately ram innocents, but the odd jump scare when docking is great fun imo.

Sometimes I wish I'd get more players in my instances, I barely see 2-3 people on my route the whole week pretty much. Then I remember how laggy it gets if there's a lot of players and don't wish this anymore. I never had anyone sit under me while I was docking, or do anything really if I think about it.

I'll go WAAAY off course to scan and chase a Clipper if I see one.

They aren't much of a fight for a Python, but nothing fills me borderline troll-like glee than popping one of those nerds.

Imperials. Ha! *urinates loudly*

They obviously aren't real Imperials, who know discretion is the better part of valour. Good luck catching up with 440 m/s worth of Clipper in a Slowthon.

there were around 10 or so CMDRs all around the station with me yesterday, with no rubber banding etc, it was great to be honest..... the joy of the CGs I guess, it does pull a lot of people together.
