Are missions offered based on your jump distance?

I just switched from a Sidewinder to an Adder. My Sidewinder has pretty decently upgraded FSD and I've been doing some decent trade/deliver missions.

Tonight when I logged in, the first thing I did was buy an Adder. It's FSD hasn't been upgraded yet, so is more limited. None of the stations I'm docking at offer worthwhile trade or delivery missions. Is this just a coincidence, part of the patch, or is it because my Adder doesn't have the FSD range my Sidewinder had?

I don't know about the missions but the Adder has a superb FSD range if you upgrade it. None of the sidewinders I've had could match the Adder I have now.

I believe that missions for which you have insufficient range just show that in red and go in the "available but unable to accept" group, like ones for which you have insufficient cargo. But I could be wrong - been flying a Cobra too long to hit any since early Gamma.

I dont recall not being able to take a mission due to jump distance. Unless you have such a low jump distance that there is no path to the destination.

Only reasons ive seen for not being able to take was cargo requirements or faction not trusting me enough.
