I thought they fixed this in Beta...but I'm seeing more and more NPCs getting blown up by stations due to their inability to land their craft and constantly trespassing. You know it's funny to see once in a while, the occupationally "noob" pilot or a smuggler that got caught, but this is getting to be too much. Space stations have essentially become NPC meat grinders.
Are NPCs getting dumber again?
