ARE NPC's really fixed..?

SO i had 4 nanobreakers in my A ranked Conda.. was heading to another station 11 ish jumps away to grab some other needed stuff then was going to do some upgrades.

i jump to my 1st system.. a NPC FAS Elite rank not in a wing doing the usually i want all your cargo bit. so i figure HEY there was a small patch today to correct this . why not its alone.


well. the crazy chain CHAFFING.. the ramming me repeatly untill shields down ..... and whats worst. is once its shield was down.

I COUNTED TO 15........ 15 second all it took from the FAS to have NO shield to having 2 full RINGS.. then 3rd ring soon after.. considering were that beam lasers it was firing at me was on top and bottom. it was non stop beams on me.. i know this because i was flying backwards after realizing there was something wrong with this.. my chaff wasnt helping no.. NPC's seems like ALL NPC's have fixed weapons.. my SCB didnt do hardly jack.

I have no real exp with owning a FAS.. but the shields thing.. no other shield ive had gets shield back that fast.. only time i ever seen shield back that quick was turning on and off while at a station.

can anyone that owns a FAS confirm on shield drop and recharge times.. there was a couple instances in this 1 min battle. that i got to deal a good pounding. but it truely seemd like only reason why its shields drops was from the repeated ramming.

Yes im FOR NPC's according to rank being harder..

HEY FD All because im Dangerous ranked myself doesnt mean i want to deal with pirates chasing me down that are extremely high ranked all the time. your casual player doesnt have time to deal with this. would rather have more time to enjoy the game instead of wounder what else is now broken with it.

Yes im ticked off.. why. BECAUSE a ELITE ranks NPC choosen to rammed me to death like a NOOB PLAYER would when they knew they was outmatched. not to mention the non stop beam fire. and multicannon fire ..

NPC's can deal with infi heat and have infi power and choose to ram players.. YEAH Im out till this crap is fixed.

sad part is.. im gonna copy and post this in bug report also only to proablly have some mod say they look into it.. i'll probally get a my ins cost back.. THAT doesnt fix anything.

this 2.1 patch was rushed. most these issues ive crossed in normal game wernt even a issue in BETA.. WHY FD WHY.
 
The question is if this game can really be fixed...maybe reforge i should say...


On FAS shield is weak cause kind of under-classed compare to the weight of the ship. So It can be restore relatively fast but i don't know. There more bug at work in Elite than other thing so, impossible to know.

this all would been avoided if i didnt have cargo on my to begin with.. i dont like trading much. or transporting. but sense the ENGINEERS require it. i went ahead took the mission to get 4 nano breakers. was gonna use 2 of them and dump the rest. because i wanted to avoid being pulled over all together .

Untill the rammed started i like the flight pattern it was doing. but then poof.. its like the AI said Screw it. ram it till its shield are down then back off and persist to continue with non stop laser fire.
 
The fix to NPC's was them not having broken weapons. That doesn't seem to be the case here, so... Working as expected, right?

Also, if the ramming was an effective tactic against you, why is the NPC a "noob" for doing it?
 
Conda Vs FAS nose to nose.. dodging.. FA off and boost wernt helping any at all..

It is defintely doable, you can boost whilst holding vert or lateral thrusters. Absolutely nothing rams me unless I am in the higher mass ship. The devs have already turned down the AI to rediculous levels, really no need for these whinge posts.
 
Or you could learn to dodge the ram.. is much more rewarding that way :)

So. I figured out that the NPCs don't seem to do much other than attempt to sit on your six and basically always b-line for your six, even if it means slamming into the hull of your Corvette and killing themselves to get there. Once on your six, if you don't move, they won't move, even when taking fire from 5 turrets and police NPCs. I tested it with a Novice FAS, an Expert Cobra and an Elite Anaconda so far. All the results were the same.
