Modding can be done, even by yourself, it's just not officially supported, which is why discussing it here is generally not a thing.
Frontier aren't against modding at all, but for this particular game, they can't allow official support because they have their hands full, with the help from Universal, to make the game look and feel as it does. Allowing official modding support means lots more work to do than what they may currently have, even at basic level.

For a number of technical and other reasons, modding isn't something that is officially supported within Jurassic World Evolution. Unofficial modding or software that alters the game's code will always present a risk to players. For this reason, it is our recommendation that you do not use unsupported modding or clients of this nature.
We also don't allow promotion or discussions of mods on our forums.
