The Beluga is a good ‘redeployable’; a good buy for a fleet carrier averse Elite commander that likes to wander the ‘forge. Beluga’s engineered FSD and general load out is Outstanding.

I like the redeploy feature- if I’m far from my home system in my new Mandalay and want to run some Tourist beacon- paid exploration missions I can summon and redeploy the Beluga and use it as rather than waiting 30-60 minutes for my bubble bound version. Not a fan of P2W...even if it is a very minor "P2W" rebuy/transfer cost. Just feels wrong somehow, for me anyways. I don't begrudge anyone for doing it though.
I purchase the early access ships for the early access, ship kit and paintjob...then once in game I head over to Jamesons and buy it from the shipyard.
Only bought the 4 recent ships: Python Mk 2, T-8, Mandalay and Cobra Mk 5, non of which I've deployed.
Asp Explorer, Beluga are so well outfitted module-wise that you can sell and respawn them anywhere there’s a ship yard and not change up anything.I've only bought the "Standard" variants of the pre-builds, and there's no way I'm leaving those stock. To be honest, the only reason I deployed them rather than just buying with credits during early access is because they'd constantly be in my ship yard asking me to deploy them if I didn't. I almost wish there was a way to buy the early access without the freely deployable version.
