Are rank progression missions broken/not spawning?

When I reached 100% Rear-Admiral they were throwing the Federal Navy missions at me left right and centre.

There are a whole bunch of rules for how where and if rank progression missions spawn. There are lots of posts on this forum and elsewhere which detail all the stars which have to be aligned for you get the missions.

Ok, this has gone on for weeks now. Stuck at baron. Grinding imperial reputation passenger missions. Allied. Not a single navy progression mission neither on mission board or in passenger lounge. Requirements met or not...
Would someone share a picture of a recent imperial navy rank progression mission? Because I haven't seen ANY since the Beyond update.
Or tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I got 2, Empire and Federation at the same station at the same time! You do have to be at least cordial with the factions at the bases you visit.

Are you looking at the non controlling empire factions and have you tried mode flipping, seems to work for me when "navy" mission seems to have dried up.
Thanks for the support guys. I think I found something. First off, there are NO rank progression mission in the passenger lounge? So far so good.
Secondly, the missions no longer read "rank progression" as before, apparently the tell is to find the word navy in the mission description? Nothing to tell that it's related to rank progression until completion...

The name of the ranking mission has "Navy" in it. They are rather uncommon, skipped three station without any in the same systems before getting one. Don't forget to check in the 'unavailable' ones for transport missions you don't have the cargo for in your current ship. Seems you have to actively look for them or just board flip and hope your station qualifies.
