Are Servers down?

Have not played for a while, as stated already problems in the Game needs sorting. But i thought i would go on today, see if my interest can come back, but will not load the Game?? says starting but nothing.
What have they done !!! is anyone else getting the problem

You do not need internet connection to start the game (if it is up to date), just your franchise maps. So your problem probably have nothing to do with the servers if you cannot boot the game at all.

uninstalled it and reinstalling it.
Nothing wrong with Computer, not long reinstalled whole Computer, and playing other Titles well.

OK finally sorted problem which is an odd one.
Will say the game worked fine before update.
Anyway after trying several things including reinstalling VCredist and System Scan, nothing as i thought was wrong. Still no JOY on Game.
Found out it was not picking up the msvcp140.dll which resides in the Windows/System32/ folder. so i copied that file to the Planet Zoo folder and it worked.
Now why has this Happened? as it should not require this.
Not boasting but lucky i am a bit Computer Savvy, or would have never of found problem.
SO just incase anyone has same problem just goto c:/Windows/System32 and locate above .dll and copy it to C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Planet Zoo.
