Are Shields less powerfull now?

Just something I noticed while fighting in my python, have A6 shields on and they just drop so fast it's crazy.

I'm almost sure the could last a few hits before, but not they just die.

Are shields less powerful now?

Some players have experienced a bug after the 1.5/horizons update with weak shields in pythons. Selling and rebuying the shield generator fixed it for them.

There have been no deliberate changes in shield strength or resistance to damage.

oh, and learn to recognize the sound of railgun fire and when you hear it, RUN. A small wing of NPCs with railguns will eat your shields in very short order no matter how tough they are

Yeah and it sucks ass, I got pulled out of SC by an NPC pirate Cobra Mk III last night while in my type 6, I had A3 shields on, he took them down and my hull down to 43% in a single shot, luckily I didn't have any cargo.... which also offers the question, why did he attack me in the first place?! I can only assume he used a PA.
