Are the Dominion DLC's Chaos Theory and Campaign switched?

On the steam page for the Biosyn expansion pack, it says that the Campaign level has you taking control over operations of the Biosyn Valley, and the Chaos Theory features helping wrangle wild dinosaurs in the Sierra Nevada. Shouldnt they be switched around? The Biosyn valley is undoubtedly going to be more important to the movie than the Sierra Nevada site. And wrangling wild dinosaurs throughout the US is the Campaign's whole thing. I feel like they must be listed as the wrong way around, right?

Part of it might depend upon how it works there. The BioSyn valley as a campaign would mean several things with it, so, potentially, several maps.

I'm kind of expecting something akin to the Return to Jurassic Park type thing where you get sent to do other things there and keep coming back.

The Sierra Nevada one seems like it'll be one map.

Well, Chaos theory is more about exploring the past than the present. It's also supposed to be non-canon to the game/film timeline, being a "what if" scenario, though JP3 kind of breaks that idea.

The Chaos Theory level is, as Thylaco points out, meant to be a "what-if" scenario. It's based on the film, but is a separate story in a new universe, if you will, where things went differently.

They're not listed the wrong way around :)

To add to it, while the Chaos Theory games are alternate universe scenarios each, the Campaign game is integrated to be within the franchise' overarching canon to bridge the gap between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion. A prologue narrative to the latter film by Frontier. JWE2's team confirmed this in an interview article with Newsweek published on November, and I recommend checking it out some time.

Whether or not the Dominion Biosyn Expansion's Campaign game follows the same kind of "canonizing" approach is unknown at this point. Especially since its confirmed to be like a "gripping new 'what if' scenario" where it is a "rising" of the sanctuary, where you also get to work alongside JP and JW hero characters. I have questions whether the two hero groups were even aware of its existence before they arrive to it in the movie for whatever purposes each. This is one of the many things I want to find out in due time.

But I do know for certain it's entirely independent from the base game's campaign narrative, just like the Claire's Sanctuary and Return to Jurassic Park campaigns from JWE1. Not what the rumors say about it being "the remaining cut half of the campaign, which is why its sorter than JWE1's campaign!"
