Are the Saitek X56 joystick unsupported?

Good morning,

I´m having issues with my key bindings from the Saitek X56 pro and I saw that the Joystick doesn´t appear under the devices since toyday. Yesterday night I was playing without any trouble and now I have to configure manually all the joystick key binding because in the BindingLoadingError log file, it tolds me "There were error loading prest file : Custom.3.0.binds" which is the file for the joystick bind. Also it tolds me "Missing Devices: SaitekX56Throttle"

Has it been unsupported?

Thank you.

As said above. Make sure you are plugged into a powered USB port, preferably directly on the motherboard. Oh, and leave both plugged in and don't switch the ports around. This can cause issues too.

Thanks guys, it was the ports. They were connected to different USB ports than Friday. Good to know XD

Here are some USB tools to help you see what is going on.

DiView.exe: This tool will show you all of the axis's for the X52/55/56 and allow you to calibrate if needed. At the bottom of the page, download DiView.zip

USBDeview v3.02: This utility will show you all of the USB devices on your system. To remove an unused device, click ONLY on the "greyed-out" USB connection and choose "uninstall selected device", <<(which are from disconnected USB devices held by obsolete registry keys), and leave all of the "Green" and "Purple" ones (which are active). This will remove all unwanted/not needed USB devices.

With these tools, you should be able to determine what is going on.

Hope this helps.

Fly safe.
