Swear Filter Evasion. Please avoid.
I am a PS4 player and now moving to PC. It seems it's possible to transfer assets to anther platform. I purchased the PC version on steam a few weeks back and decided to play it today, but I was only welcomed by a wall of issues.
The launcher keeps telling me that I need to update my game, but it is already up to date. I reinstalled the game, rebooted the PC. Same! Fine, maybe I should try launching the game without steam. Now it won't tell me to update and go f**k myself. But it only allows me to play demo. Good thing is there a login button. So I put in my email and password. It tells me to go purchase the game first? WHAT IS THE F**K? I purchased it on steam. That's why I can launch it! Steam gave me 3 keys. I thought the launcher is gonna have a place to let me redeem the keys, but no, everything on the launcher says 'F**k you, buy our game'
So I click on the 'my account' button hoping it would take me to a place where I can redeem my code. But it took me to a freaking webpage. Fine, I'll log in. I find an item named 'Product Access Key'. You know what it tells me? "Sorry this feature is not available without a valid billing address. " What a nice way to say 'F**K YOU'.
Then I decided to contact Frontier's customer service. It took me to the FAQ pages. Of course none of them covers my issue. I picked the one that kinda relates to my issue and asked to open a ticked. But you know what? It asked to sign f**king in again. So I did. And then it took me back to the beginning of the FAQ page (by now it should be pronounced as 'F**k you page'). Then I navigate to open a ticket again. It again asked me to sign in. Then I signed in. And it took me back to the front of the FAQ page. I repeated it 5 f**king times! And every time I login, it forces me to do that reCAPTCHA thing. It's a pain in the cencorship!
Eventually I opened a ticket somehow. I hope there is actually a human being working to resolve customer's issues caused by their own incompetent developers.
