Fiction Are there any good "lore for beginners" resources out there?

I've seen a couple of links around to various sites but does anyone know of any decent videos that are Elite lore for dummies? There is a lot out there in the way of books etc but it would be good for a resource almost like "previously in the Elite universe" etc.

Any ideas?

If there is an online 'Gazetteer' then I would strongly suggest it as a starting point. Also 'Stories of life on the Frontier'.
