Are there any rtx 3080s left in stock

Been everywhere can't find one in stock at all in the UK. Any live real in stock links would be appreciated.
Won't use ebay alot of scams there atm geforce related.

There are no 3090, 3080, 3070 or 3060 ti cards anywhere in the f'ing world unless you want to pay a scalper double on eBay (I will not). I've been mashing refresh on newegg, best buy, bhphotovideo and several others for weeks. It's hopeless. One piece of advice: ignore Microcenter when their national phone service recording swears that in-store stock is updated on the website and accurate to the minute. It is not, and I have the pointless 2-hour roundtrip journey for absolutely nothing to prove it.

As I understand it, every card in the line was sold-out in less than 10 minutes everywhere, most of which were probably purchased by bots and comprised the long list of price-gouged cards currently on ebay. nVidia and AMD are suffering from shutdown at their suppliers due to Covid and are literally not able to produce cards at the moment because the simply don't have the physical components to do it. In case you're wondering "does that suck a*s?"... yes. Yes, it does.

nVidia announced a new line of cards earlier this week, including a base 3060, coming out end of February. That might help.

Left in stock? There were never any in stock to begin with. :D They might sort their act out in a few months.

I'm looking for a 6800 XT, but am not expecting to find one anytime soon (I'm not going the Ebay route...).

Sign up to the 3080 discord channel as well as the telegram set up. Generally (in the UK) 3080 stock comes in and you have 30 second tops to grab one. 3090s.are a bit easier to get and last a few mins .

Google for links as am not sure they are meant to be posted publicly but some do

With bitcoin at crazy high prices, and scalpers galore, good luck finding a new video card. Just remember to never buy a used video card, or a video card that isn't new from Newegg, or Amazon, or whatever store that isn't new. Never pay above MSRP, etc.

If there is no market for the scalpers to sell to they will learn real quick.

Thankfully my old video card seems to handle ED just fine.

Every once in a while they pop up in a local store, but they disappear fast.

The BEST way to get one is to befriend the guy who stocks the shelves.. he can put one aside as soon as they come in and then call you. It'll cost you a bottle of the stockers favorite drink.. whether that's paying as much as a scalper or not...

Friend of mine got one from Scan, but using the technique Mad Mike said above - basically camping out on their website waiting for the stock alert and repeatedly trying to get one in the basket. It did work though.

Actually, there are no 3090, 3080, 3070, 3060, 2080, 2070, 2060, 1660, 1650. We had to jump through the fire to source three 1050Ti over two weeks. Three. And "we" as in "the hardware retailer I work for" (Italy).
The GTX 1xxx mining drought from a couple years ago was bad, but this is order of magnitude more ridiculous.

Wow, talk about instant karma! Actually, not sure this is instant karma because I didn't do anything deserving of getting any good karma in return. But whatever it is, I'll take it!

My 'there are none in the world' post above is timestamped 11:30am local time. At 11:56, my phone rang. It was the manager of a local electronics store who said he'd call me if and when they got one in stock. I never expected to hear from him but, true to his word, he called. I've already been to the store and picked it up and it's sitting next to me, shiny and new, at this very moment! Off to install it now ...

[ EDIT: Occurs to me that if today's to be my lucky day, I'm not working this instant karma angle hard enough. So... "You know what else you can never find? Winning lottery tickets, that's what. I've been trying for YEARS without luck". Wth, worth a shot. ]

OP.
Not that I've seen. My mate pre-ordered one on 19/09/20 and still waiting. He's 320 in the queue and it's taken months to move up a couple of 100 places. At this rate, it'll be 3-6 months before he gets it.
I've stopped looking, just happy I still got a 2080 that suits my current needs.

Was very lucky getting my 3090. Saw a 3090 in stock, wanted to cancel the 3080 i was still waiting for, called the merchant that i wanted to exchange the order.
Merchant said the website is out of date, but coincidentially there was another 3090 in stock.
Paid via paypal, delivered next day.

RTX 3000 series GPU is a myth that everyone heard but only few "lucky" ones saw. I don't think they actually exist for real . By the time they become available for the average human in the average retail store they will be obsolete and we going to use something newer. NVIDIA expects this "shortage" to last through half of 2021 (at least) and by then some of these GPUs going to be almost a year old, which in the modern computer terms almost eternity. Besides, don't really need them to begin with. I just built my new PC not too long ago: MSI MEG Z490 ACE, i7-10700K at 4.9 Ghz cooled by Noctua NH-D15, 16GB of RAM, 2.5 TB of NVME M.2, 1TB SATA SSD and I'm running my old GTX 1070Ti at 1080p (max resolution for my monitor) on max settings with no issues whatsoever. My FPS count probably not as high as it would be with RTX 3000 but my average human eye likes it as is and I don't really care about the actual numbers. I'll just wait until next year and better GPUs that I can actually buy with no hassle.

There available if you're a OEM prebuilt PC seller... There not available if you want to buy 1 or 2 for home use...

Yep, never saw them for sale online, so ended up ordering a brand new PC (with a 3080)! For sure more expensive (about double) but I'd have needed a new PSU in my existing PC, so already close to $1,000, and now I'm getting a much faster processor, faster RAM and a 1TB SSD. Should be arriving in a couple of weeks, no delays so far.

Wanted it because I got a Reverb G2, and my existing GTX 1080 is very minimum spec. Have to say, ED actually plays really well with my existing system, crisp, clear and smooth with just a few stutters in menus in stations, but I'm also playing MSFS 2020, and that, while still playable, really does need something more powerful.

I always wait 18mths or so till they get cheaper. Until then my 2 8Gb 1080's run everything at max anyway. Inc CP2077.
