Are there any rtx 3080s left in stock

Keep an eye on the company that 8pack (Ian Parry) works for, Its where I get most of my computer parts from.
I buy a lot from there but they are NOT the place to get a 3080 from at the moment. They have a serious list of back orders.

The FE is the only card being sold at the RRP of £650 and the only place selling them in UK is scan. But you have seconds to get once once in stock. My mate managed it. I haven't so far.

That and apparently they only allow 1 card per address, which means you can't double dip if you have a friend that wants one, and you're both trying.

I got my fingers burnt a getting the RTX2080 TI when it first came out
First one blew up after 3 months and was replace under warranty, second one works great however fan spins up really loud when the temp hits a certain level, only way I can stop is to run the fans constantly at 65% which is still annoyingly loud. Have read its a design flaw and Nvidia drivers force the fans to spin up to stop the card from going bang ! Interested if anybody else has got round this (without fitting liquid cooling)

This is not unknown in the video card world, I bought a top-end Radeon card that would not run at top resolution without the fans spinning at full RPMs, it was unbearable. Eventually my son the attorney got AMD to cough up a replacement as it was a known issue for that Radeon card.

Replaced it with my current 1070 which runs whisper quiet at top settings.

Did not have that problem with my 1080's the fans are still in the manufactures boxes:)

8packs crew fitted the water-cooling blocks and tested them before dispatch, I was actually surprised that they sent me the original complete fan assembly because I had actually brought them as water-cooled cards.
