Are there any space games compatible with VR that are better than ED?

I am 68% away from Elite in combat which will finish off my last goal for the game by making triple elite.

With the mission/passenger boards in a huge disarray, and bugs getting worse and worse with every update, and most of the replies in bug reports being:

"Can you upload even more screenshots and even more details?"

Then no other replies ever.

So with MY only joy left in the game being slowly advancing toward elite in combat, is there another fun space game for Oculus VR or Steam VR?

I thought EVE looked cool but heard it is in third person.

Basically something like ED without dictators nerfing everything and screwing everything else up when they do, AKA leave the game alone and let folks enjoy the game they spent money on.

Air Car in Oculus Rift would be awesome as a game, it is a free demo, but man is it awesome, but it is on an atmosheric planet, but awesome.

All games are probably like this now, I am just used to the old games on a disc you install or download and you are the master, even P3D lets you be the master.

I had never had a game run by folks who want you to grind forever for everything in the game, I guess hoping it will keep you playing.

But I think that it gets old fast and folks say screw it.

If this offends FD, I am sorry, but, then again, look at all the thousands of threads griping about ED vs's the dozen or so threads praising ED, maybe FD is doing almost everything wrong.

The ones I can think of are Everspace, Bridge Crew & PULSAR...
Star Citizen will get VR eventually, but I'd forget about that game for a while.

I feel you, unfortunately, there's not many full (if you want to count Elite as full???!) games in VR.

But if you still got that "I need new content" itch scratched, check out No Man's Sky NEXT, comes out the 24th. Massive base building, you can build a fleet of 50 large ships, Weekly events (yes, weekly events! CGs now in NMS!) and you actually get to walk around on two feet!
To my knowledge, unfortunately, it's not VR, but man, if they add it.......... O M G ! [woah] [woah] [woah] [cool][up]

Other then that, not sure what to say, VR is not dead, but it's hard to get developers to build for it properly. Elite has been one of the best VR experiences out there right now. (I have a Vive, so I speak form experience.)

I playing ROBINSON the JOURNEY at the moment .. THATs worth a look a cross between Jurassic park and space gaming.

none space game with great intense moments , career structure and great Gamers support.. IL2 Stalingrad..
It is VR and multi player/ single player... Skill level from dumb bunny arcade to OH my GOD We're going to die.. HAs two new updates battle of moscow.battle of kabow.

Worth a try..

Got all other X games their brilliant, well worth the look, plus u can mod it with scripts, ships and command fleets of ships and have your own starports and factories.
