I remember watching a program where Stephen Hawking was discussing time travel and had decided to hold a party inviting them. I think the idea was he would hold the party and then at some later time he would purposely advertise the party with the date that was in the past! The idea being that if anyone attended they would have to obtained this information and then travelled back to attend the party, and of course no one did!

That just proves they can't be caught out with such trickery!

this would make an awesome yet tricky event for ED. What if you were out in some remote system (obviously by yourself) and ended up in time loopy thingy. I was always puzzled by the way the first one was a five year mission to go where no-one had been before. But there were nearly always people there already. I just guessed it was because they were repeats.
