Are there systems people are gravitating towards?

Hello All,
Firstly excuse the gravity pun. This thread is basically what it says in the title. Are people tending to travel towards certain systems where perhaps more things are going on, or there tends to be more players in instances? For instance, most popular anarchy/empire/federation system?
Cheers,

Noviam

I am happy in the middle of nowhere, just keep moving. Currently around a system called bullpop (yes, really). Its in an area of independant, federal and alliance systems.

I must admit I wish there was less amount of populated stars in terms of multiplayer interaction.

Whenever I look on alliance/empire/federation systems in the map. The shear number is simply overwhelming. And I mean that in a bad way.

I like to go where the action is, so I can usually be found in systems mentioned in the news. Been making bank selling drugs (onionhead), and trashing feds (combat zone in Kappa Fornacis). Well I suppose most of the drug money goes into paying to repair my ship when I screw up in the combat zone, but whatever, I'm having fun. :)

I have a small group of friends who are just doing trading at the moment. So we try to hunt new routes where the profit is. Up until a few days ago, we have a couple of systems all to ourselves which was nice as we are not really equipped to take on ganking lowlife atm. Now we are in a system where there are a few more PCs, but so far it's all been good. Once I get my next ship, I will probably do a bit of exploring so will be looking for some open spaces :)

I'm making my first foray into Imperial space, and slowly building some Imperial rank. If the Emporer is dying there is likely money to be made in and around Archenar

Yep. Lave, Leesti and Diso especially Orrere - this is basically one end of a very profitable rares run and is filling up with scoundrels and pirates. Bring your own nails.

Yeah, some moron was spamming the route all over Twitch.

No idea who that could've been  :p

For bounty hunting, I hang around in the Empire, also near or in Duwaredari (Anarchy) - you can pick up Imp/Fed/Alli bounties there. A Fed system is two jumps away and Imp is one jump away. It just means you can rake in a lot more for your money and help rank progression [if you care about it] with both factions! You do get the odd Alliance bounty trickle in too. Speaking of which - I've got an Empire rank upgrade mission to do though, it will take my up from Outsider! :)

For now, I've been trading rares in a T6. I've pretty much been all over, visiting lots of different ports which sport rares. I've not done runs per-se, but it's been good fun to see new parts of the galaxy, I'd have otherwise missed! The only gripe I have is that all space stations have the same layout, maybe some colour differences and a different decal. It would be good if they all had a different look and feel; yes, I know they're all 'modular', and yes, they are all different, technically, but I'd like to see different designs and layouts for each faction, to give them a different degree of separation.

I don't know where I'd particularly want to make my Home. Nowhere, really.. I guess. Preferably somewhere in the Empire [Achenar!] but 400,000,000,000 star systems is too big just to stay in the one place! :)

I've found the outer Sol area to be pretty populated compared to where I started (LHS3447). Ofc, so is the police response...

Look at traffic reports - they're a good indicator. In general, near Sol, near Alioth, near Lave, near Eravate, near Achenar.

Rares places have a massively higher traffic. There's lot up near Lave. Lots around Sol.

Normally I'm in or around Sol, purely because I know the majority of the star names around me so I don't need to be looking at the map half the time.

However, over the weekend I decided I wanted to buy the Imperial Clipper, so I headed over to Wuru and am now using it as a centralised system for running missions from while I grind out Imp faction. So like Sol after an hour or so of doing it I've gotten to know all the local systems, have a pretty good idea of where almost all mission resources are sold so I rarely need to check the map, I know which systems have stations out in the middle of no where so know what missions to try and avoid etc.
