Are tickets Broken

I hit an issue that I wanted to ticket, typed it out, made a video to show my problem and create ticket,all looks good at this point…
Then I go to check my tickets and it goes back to the form I was filling out, with the information from that ticket… is this normal?
Did I post a ticket?
Didn’t get an email… Not making this easy for me Fdev, very frustration, so here I am. On the forums now, correct portals not working right, I think.
 
make sure that the right ticket category is selected through the "breadcrumb" selection. Unless it is set, the ticket doesn't go through. It's not intuitive, and caught me up too at times, but if you first select the right category (i.e. Elite Dangerous series, Windows (or other platform), Report a bug, Game or launcher bug) it works fine. When you try to submit and it goes back instead, make sure you go through this category selection again and then submit. Once it is properly submitted, it'll give you a ticket ID, and it will show up in "My tickets".
