Are Torval > Archon slave routes still a thing?

Looking to make some cash, anyone know if this still works?

Don't know about shipping slaves to Archon space, but you can certainly still get cheap slaves in Torval control systems (< 3000 cr per tonne). At that price, it's not difficult to find somewhere to sell them at a big profit.

Haven't done it for a little while, but I don't see why not. It's all to do with the related PowerPlay perks, cheaper slaves at one end and better black market prices at the other. So unless they've tinkered with the purchase/sale prices of imp slaves, (haven't heard anything to indicate they have), it should still be fine.

You can still find profitable routes. I used to use one that was a smuggling route from Torval to Archon. Also works for mined goods too, and these are legal. But you can find equal/better one hop slave routes easily enough making it kind of redundant to fly back and forward unless you're looking for the thrill of it.

Kind of a shame, I like the idea of a longer range route like that.

The routes are still possible, but two things have happened:
1. One-hop iSlaves routes are proliferating and profitable.
2. Some of the closer Delaine system governments were flipped after the 1.5 Update and as of yet, no one has used the BGS to flip them back to profitable...though it is always in the back of my mind.

Sorry for the noob question (still getting to know all this). What is BGS?

Back Ground Simulation

That can mean a lot, but the specific case inferred has to do with manipulating influence, so a particular minor faction comes to power / owns the station.

Just bear in mind Delaine systems aren't the only systems you'll find decent black market prices (granted never used them so don't know the profit per ton) I've found a few Torval - ALD Spaces that have 4k+ profit returns on Black Market Slaves in my time
