CQC Are unlocks necessary?

Simple question. Could we possibly have a mode (feel free to keep the ranks and progression in that sense, possibly more lv = more money? ) but... ditch the entire thing with unlocking equip? With such a tiny player base it creates an unnecessarily high barrier to entry. Let alone it's difficult to find a match at all. I love the concept of CQC, but finding a game at all is a pain, and when you get in it's (in my personal experience) been lots of slow moving camping with heavy weapons just turtling and tanking each other. If you had variability of equip, you could switch to something that'd break up that kind of camping, and then get the game moving, but right now it seems like if you find a build that beats all the low level things, you're golden.
 
Personally I think they should give everyone access to everything from the start. To stop people complaining its unfair. The skill level makes it unfair, not the equipment.
 
Yeah if anything it should work the other way around. Start with everything and loose weapons as you rank up.

I have the same issue with other so called 'competitive' games where time spent = more advantages/perks. Removes a level of skill to it all and seems to just be there for a grind.

Even better would be that you need to acquire the weapons in the game, during the match! Give a reason to learn the maps better and might avoid the usual scenario of players just swarming to a singular spot to get kills asap which gets old very fast.
