Are voice packs worth it?

It is advertised as funny and profane, it is neither. Except for the occasional F-bomb it simply insults you, John DeLancie's performance is wooden, sounds like he is reading his lines into a telephone. I think if I could do it again I would get the "Astra" voice=pack but you do not get to try any of them before you buy and when I asked about exchanging the "ELI" voice pack my email was simply ignored.

Yeah, I can relate to this, if you have a problem or even a query; then forget trying to contact HCS guy's. It seems once they have your money, all communication bets are off! (I have the ASTRA HCS Pack but no longer use it for unresolved and complicated technical reasons, with no help from HCS).

With FD upping their COVAS and GALNET AUDIO offerings, the future without HCS is looking brighter.
