Are we getting cross species socialization?

The hybrids in Part 2 did this, though.
At least with some of them.
Ankylodocus, for example, has social animations with Ankylosaurus and Diplodocus.

I doubt it because the developers probably put most effort into animations of juveniles and new dinosaurs.

More animations are on the top of my wishlist so this would be a great addition though.
Interactions with objects in enclosures would be awesome, too.

It's the third game and as far as we know even popular species like Velociaptors do not jump on rocks or other objects.
More animations would bring so much more life and realism into our parks.

More and more varied animations would be great, but in the videos we've seen so far from Frontier, quite a few elements have been copied directly from jwe2.
Social animations between two adult raptors, Mosasaurus shark feeder animation, and even Utahraptor vs. Goat are recycled.
I fear that this is exactly what it will be like for all species that make it from part 2 to part 3.

Might get an answer with the Mailing list Q&A coming up.

Interspecies adoption could be a thing for specific combinations, which would definitely warrant shared social animations as adults, but I certainly wouldn't expect it to be common.

I have only seen cross-species socialization in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. It occurred in the relationships of these herbivores:

  • Homalocephale and Pachycephalosaurus
  • Kentrosaurus and Stegosaurus
  • Styracosaurus, Torosaurus, and Triceratops
  • Camarasaurus and Brachiosaurus.

Before bringing cross-species socialization to Jurassic World: Evolution 3, I suggest in improving the following relationships first:

  • Gallimimus and Deinocheirus
  • Huayangosaurus and Chungkingosaurus
  • Torosaurus and Triceratops
  • Camarasaurus, Diplodocus, and Apatosaurus
  • Diplodocus and Brachiosaurus
