Hmmm, overly complex? I think I get it now... So lets start with the basics..

Open left window, tab through to the contacts screen, select the station and 'request docking clearance'.

Given that roughly 99.99% of pilots who approach a station request docking clearance, that's a bit of a long-winded activity (especially for a new player).

I'm all for immersion and simulation... but simulating a bad UI isn't what I had in mind.
