Horizons Are we playing the "changes" or playing the game?

The original text was too long, so it's been edited and the question is:

Has the game play become too much about dealing with changes and less about the game?

Is this good or bad for the game. Imho, it takes away from the enjoyment.

Now you've got me thinking ... I'd say I feel like I'm perpetually waiting for the next thing to get fixed. The engineers (which personally I think are OK for the most part) seem to be getting tweaked or Soon(tm) to be tweaked all the time. Then there's the combat changes and mission fixes pending.

Saying that though, I think the current Beta is the way to do it - hopefully they'll roll as much stuff up in the next version as they can even if it means a week or two delay.

So in answer, not playing the changes, more than waiting for the changes.
