Are you familiar with this ?

ya that is some next level
they are shipping 4k units already...curved screen etc.

its literally unbelievable. and they made a oculus rift dk1 upgrade kit a while back which sold pretty well.

so I think maybe their 4k unit may actually work with ED and Assetto generally anything that is oculus working...

could you imagine this?

you would literally literally need sli titan X $2000 + a 4.5ghz + cpu

but it wuold be unreal.

arent they like $4000 for headset?

The specs are amazing but... it's kind of funny that their site says "450 units sold", but then says "170 satisfied customers". That's not a good ratio.:p

[edit] actually, I see the developer of one of the best Oculus demos (Sightline-the chair) is on their team, so they just might know what they are doing.

I wonder how they will get any game support though?
Is there even an SDK yet?
They say OSVR compatibility. If that open source standard will take off nobody knows considering the razer VR unit is pretty crap and has no positional tracking.
If it gets support this could be good but i am sceptical.

Apart from the fact I first read the name as vronion....Looks interesting.

The new additions to the VR world can only be a good thing for the end user.

Don't think I'll be buying one at that price though.

Think I'm going to order one, have sent them an email regarding compatibility with ED and other Oculus apps. Will report back if everything goes well
