CQC Are you getting any action?

So everyone hates on CQC.

But.
I gave it a bit of a crack during the Beta back then.
And.

It was fun.
I liked it.

Now, your mileage may vary, and fair enough - horses for courses.
But sometimes I reckon I'd like to give it a bit of a go.

Bit of the old ducking and weaving; hiding and pouncing; lead and lag; bait and switch; do or die!
and die and die and die.

But I have never-

N E V E R

managed to play CQC since it came into the game.

Okay, so maybe that's less than a dozen attempts.
And maybe there's only an hour and a half all up sitting in the lobby.


So my question is:
Do you get any action?

- coz there's cobwebs growing on mine.

Sometimes I can get a game, sometimes I can't.

I suspect that the matchmaker would put us in the same games pretty consistently if we were both online at the same time.

I'd love to play CQC, but so far I haven't been able to find more than 4 other players in any lobby. I've tried varying the times I sit in the lobby. I tried early evening, thinking maybe the game is mostly Brits. I've tried weekends. Nothing. I see other players above rank 1, so someone is getting in.

I'm just about done trying. I wish FD would at least let us fly through the maps while we wait for the match that will likely never fill up so we can feel like our time wasn't a total loss.

I played around 20-25 in 2 hours last night. I can do that consistently every day. Not sure if time zone/region has anything to do with the fact that some people can't find matches.

i only do deathmatch and usually don't have too much of a problem, longest i've spent in the lobby was about 10 mins

I was able to find a Deathmatch lobby last night for 5-6 games at approx. 10 pm AKST (GMT -9), which almost never happens. So the games are out there, you just have to be patient(took prob 5 minutes to get into the lobby). Also, sometimes it help to restart the search after a few minutes if you don't find anything. I've had it happen a few times where I load up and start searching for a match, and get nothing after 10 minutes, then as soon as I restart the search it finds a game in 30 seconds.

Yes this is a serious issue, I empty them all the time its not fun. For anyone.

Actually I had to go to bed before most of them rage quit, it was good. Nobody over level 30, so I tried out some less than optimal builds and generally mucked around. Didn't lose any games though

If the problem is infinite "Searching for match", then try exit the game, close launcher (this is mandatory!), then start launcher and the game. It will help.

, I'm getting better..., slowly. Those were some fun matches last night.

I found a "new" mouse and keyboard setup video on youtube and I am having to remap my button pushing memory. I may have over tweaked my mouse sensitivity a tad.... [noob] :O [where is it] [woah]

I seem to recall seeing you scattered across my windscreen at least once... just saying...
