Are you improving the buildings tools from Planco?

#1) Will there be Spline-based tools for walls? so we can have the option to simply "click+drag" instead of going piece by piece (if we choose)? Also with the ability to easily change wall textures without rebuilding them over and over? and why is there no grid for fences/enclosures?

#2) How about spline-based river tools (or even simple scenery pieces), similar to how people use the river rapids to create natural flowing rivers in PlanCo?

#3) Can we enable an optional grid for editing terrain to line up evenly with walls? and more importantly a way to align/snap terrain with paths?

#4) Can there be an option to make paths "cut through terrain" so we dont have to worry about making sure the ground is perfectly even? it was already possible in PlanCo but kinda glitchy

#5) Will it be easier to create large plazas, such as an option to "fill selected area with pathing"? so we dont have to deal with odd gaps?

#6) Will there be options to automatically snap lamps, bins, or benches (of our choosing) to path edges, similar to curbs and fences.

#7) Can you greatly increase the options for size & speed of terrain modifying tools? or make it more like rct3 (almost instant) or maybe even allow us to type in values instead of having to wait an hour to make a large mountain

#8) Can we get a random spray tool to paint with specific objects (like rocks or plants) in various patterns, color, size, and rotation?

#9) Will we beable to easily swap backgrounds or skirts without glitches? will the terrain textures be limited like in Planco?

10) Can we save paths with blueprints?

These features were highly requested in PlanCo because they would save lots of time by making it easier for creating underground rooms, tunnels, and caves! Thanks :)

A lot of good suggestions. I don't see why they don't have a building/edit mode that is similar to the user friendly of the Sims 4. It's the basics of having a grid. The snapping and connecting is simple with textures.

I really really hope that the fencing is a spline based click and drag (if you chose to do it that way, like in ZT2), honestly, building an enclosure fence putting one piece at a time would drive me crazy, and probably take away some enjoyment, especially since, if I have a specific design I want, it can get incredibly frustrating and take ages to get it perfect. I hope we can build rivers and lakes, pools ect easily too.

For the love of god please let the pathing system not be like Planco...the amount of time I have spent fixing, editing, and downright re-doing paths over and over and over is time I will never get back. Pathing like ZT2 Is a dream honestly, no restrictions so I can build my own plazas and sitting areas.

For the safety of my sanity I really hope that at least these 2 things are implemented

That's the modded version of Zoo tycoon 2
Well thats why mods are awesome, but theres no reason why Plazoo cant have building tools similar to the video I showed. Your video doesnt seem better to me, I wasnt trying to show a slow playthrough, I just wanted to show the tools I'd like to see added into Plazoo and/or Planco2. Ya know, like the grids, click+drag, auto-fill, easy to replace textures, etc, and other simple features to help reduce time consumption while playing:)

ah sorry >.<. I was just trying to show a more accurate comparison. The modded version is better than the original version of Zoo Tycoon 2, due to the mods like "No grid placement" and all the animals and pieces you can get. The only real thing I think i'd want planet zoo to take notes from is the path mechanics. Sorry I got the wrong message from your post though.. 😣

Sadly, the path system from planet coaster returns in this game. This kind of bums me out, since that system.. is extremely hard to work with. I wish they could have gone with the Jurassic world evolution system for fences and paths.
